The Good Day Project

You may have spotted the Good Day graffiti poster around campus, or seen the posts on Facebook and Instagram. The Good Day Project aims to uplift everyone around campus, especially around finals time.

The Good Day Project originally started as an extra credit assignment for Professor Kim Ring’s Social Media Marketing classes here at Suffolk University. But students involved say it’s become much more than that.

In an interview for New England Cable News’ Suffolk in the City, Suffolk Senior, Ariana Malcolm elaborates: “This is such an important time to be talking about [mental health], and raising awareness for this because it’s so misunderstood and not acknowledged enough within the community.”

The Good Day Project kicked off earlier this month with a launch party in the Ridgeway gym — serving up free pizza and snacks, and featuring a live performance by the Ramifications.

The project will continue through the end of the semester, as Suffolk students continue to spread kindness and encouragement with inspirational texts that you can get sent straight to your phone, pop-up’s around campus, and a growing social media presence. Check it out! And don’t forget to have a Good Day.
