Infinity War: The Boldest Marvel Movie To Date (Non-spoiler review)
***NO SPOILERS AHEAD***
There are no words to describe the events I have just taken witness to. Even if this was a spoiler review, I would not know where to begin. Avengers: Infinity War is by far the most ambitious Marvel movie to date.
Everyone is back. And by everyone, I literally mean everyone. This is the culmination of the past 10 years that the MCU has been teasing us with for so long. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have now come face to face with the almighty Thanos (Josh Brolin), who’s on a quest to collect all 6 Infinity Stones giving him limitless power over the universe.
In an epic that spans two and a half hours, you’d think there would be some pacing issues trying to assemble over 30+ characters. But the directors, Anthony and Joe Russo, seem to flawlessly blend them together in a way that’s never been done before. With the previously established films, Infinity War is now given the opportunity to tell the story Marvel fans have been waiting for without having to explain too much about a certain character or where they come from.
By incorporating multiple storylines that overarch the main focus of the film, which is to stop and take down Thanos, the events resemble a young boy playing with his action figures but on the big screen. If you thought the first Avengers was one of the greatest crossovers, Infinity War takes that and cranks it up to 11 in this hilarious, action-packed, and downright heartbreaking adventure.
Avengers: Infinity War can be seen by audiences everywhere April 27.
