Maze Runner: Death Cure Ends The Movie Franchise In A Thrilling Way
The wait is over, Maze Runner: Death Cure is here and it is a great way to end a series.
Dylan O’Brien is back as Thomas trying to rescue Minho (Ki Hong Lee) from WCKD with help from Newt (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), Brenda (Rosa Salazar) and others. Thomas and his team have to find a way to stop WCKD from harming innocent people just to find a cure to the disease that turn people into what WCKD calls “cranks.”
Being the longest film of the three films, Death Cure has a lot happening in two hours and twenty plus minutes. The characters are dealing with many obstacles in their way, including cranks and WCKD. It feels like another World War Z at times with the cranks. It proves to the best movie out of all the films, although it strayed away from what the book wrote. The deviations from the book made the movie more fresh, as you had no idea what could happen next.
Death Cure contains thrilling action sequences, touching emotional moments between characters, and strong humor. It reminds you of how great the series is while also encouraging you to read the books over again. Prepare yourself for tears.
It is a fitting end to a fantastic series that will live on forever.
The final movie to the popular trilogy, Maze Runner: Death Cure is in theaters on January 26th 2018.
