Justice League review
It’s finally that time. Justice League is finally here. The new superhero action packed DC film has arrived and it’s no joke, besides the facetious humor that is in the movie. DC has had issues in the past with proving that they could make superhero movies like Marvel does but they did pull it off with Wonder Woman and they have definitely proven themselves worthy with Justice League.
The movie is similar in ways to the very first Avengers. Justice League is about an evil god named Steppenwolf wanting to take over the world after being trapped for thousands of years. In order to achieve this, he needs to find three boxes that are major sources of power that are being guarded by different tribes, one protected by the Amazonians, another protected by Aquarians and the other is hidden where no one can find it.
Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) join forces to beat the evil Steppenwolf and his Parademons from taking over the world and making everyone bow down to Steppenwolf. There’s also a special hero that comes and helps fight along Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg but you’ll need to see the movie to find who comes and helps them.
Overall, the movie was outstanding. It shows the mourning of the fall of Superman who died in Batman vs Superman. The movie introduced each superhero with their own fight scene so that we could understand their fighting style and where they come from before all the hero’s join forces. Wonder Woman was the standout, no shocker there. With her fierce and confident fighting abilities, she takes down every parademon like she’s not even trying. Batman, who is a classic, shows off his new gadgets that he has up his belt. Aquaman, who is a literal slayer, proves that he deserves a stand-alone movie. The Flash, along with Cyborg, also deserve stand-alone movies because they both have haunting pasts that could use more explaining in other movies.
The movie was an action-packed, thrill ride. If you blink, you might miss a lasso or a pitch fork staff go through someone’s body.
Everyone needs to do themselves a favor and see Justice League in theaters November 17th, 2017.
