Voice Exclusive: November’s Student Body Presidential Column
The Presidential Column
As we wind down and reach the end of a crazy semester I just wanted to say hello and let you know what SGA is up to. First, I want to get a little sentimental and say how much I love Suffolk because of all of us. After registering for the last time as a senior I looked back and realized how great this place is because of the people that are apart of it, so thank you. It was great to see a bunch of students at all the homecoming events and I hope to see a lot of you there in the future as alumni.
SGA has been working on a few initiatives; one of the biggest is our outreach program. This is a direct way for senators of SGA to reach out to students and see what you have issues with at Suffolk. You will be getting an email with tons of information and how it works very soon!
For the freshman here at Suffolk, I want to remind you about a survey that all of you should take. It involves your experience as a first year student and asks all kinds of questions about it. I know surveys can be annoying, but this will allow Suffolk to make the changes need to make the first year experience better, which in turn makes the university better and makes Suffolk a much more recognized university in Boston.
All of you are always welcome to come by the SGA office in the fourth floor of Donahue and say hello or let us know any issues you are facing and I hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving break in a few weeks!
