Color Your World
The leaves are falling, the wind is blowing and the tans are fading; you know what that means ladies, fall is just around the corner and it’s time to put away all your summer clothes until next year.
This fall season colors are making a 180-degree turn; the purples are becoming darker and richer, and the blues are getting deeper and more sensual. These colors are fabulous to work with because they are versatile and can go with almost anything. Pair a dark violet infinity scarf with a navy blue quilted jacket and you will be the most stylish girl on campus.
Emerald green will be an essential color to own this season. Whether you use it as a statement color in a handbag or a base in a pair of colored denim, this lush color will be sure to make your outfit pop.
As always black will be a go to color. It is always good to have in your wardrobe and can be dressed up or down, but assures that you will always look classy and chic.
For the understated girls, have no fear, pretty in pink is making its way back into the picture. As big as bold dark colors are for this year, sweeter colors such as pale pink and lilac are making their way back in 2013.
Pale, whimsical skirts matched with tall brown Frye boots and a chunky white sweater will look fabulous on a crisp fall day. When night comes around throw on a chunky lavender necklace and some statement heals and heads will be sure to turn when you walk in the door.
Whether you are someone who craves color or utilizes undertones, the trends this year will help to make your wardrobe unique and fabulous.
