Scottie Pippen Visits North Korea; Says It’s “Not That Bad”
Former Chicago Bulls superstar and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen was convinced by longtime teammate Dennis Rodman to visit North Korea with him.
It was yesterday that Pippen returned with the following statement, “Yeah sure a bunch of people die, but once you get past that, it’s not that bad of a country.”
Pippen met up with Kim Jong-Un for dinner and the two had apparently hit it off with their interest in basketball.
“Seriously, Kim is a great guy. The guy really knows what he is talking about when it comes to basketball,” Pippen says.
Pippen is going to try to convince other members of the 1992 Olympics Men’s Basketball Team to try to come to North Korea, in an attempt to experience the country. Pippen rumored to the press that “The Admiral” David Robinson and Larry Bird were both excited to join Pippen on another vacation to the country.
One former NBA superstar that is unhappy is Charles Barkley. Barkley believes that North Korea is an awful country.
“Charles is a bit nutty, I mean have you ever seen him discuss basketball with Shaq on TV?” Pippen told the press.
While this also may be a rumor, Kim Jong-Un wants Rodman and Pippen to play for the North Korean Olympic Basketball team sometime in the near future.
