What’s to Come?
Season Two is over and it has left its entire audience at the edge of their seats wanting more eerie, disturbing, and surreal moments.
Rumor has it that Ryan Murphy is only going to not only meet but exceed people’s expectations. He has given word that Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange, and Sara Paulson are indeed coming back, but of course playing completely different characters made specifically for the new story.
Entertainment Weekly interviewed Ryan Murphy last month, and spoke of his thoughts on the upcoming season.
I mean, I don’t think anything could ever be as dark as the mental health care system in our country. I sorta feel like for the third version I want to do something that’s a little bit more ‘evil glamour.”’ Just something that’s a little bit more…one of the things that I missed this season was I really loved having that Romeo & Juliet youth story with Violet and Tate. I want something like that again and we’re doing something like that in the third season. And we’re contemplating shooting the show in a different place. We’re contemplating shooting it in a place in the country where true horror has been. We’ve got lots of delicious plans.”
So what can this mean for anticipated fans? Well, for the past two seasons, Murphy has been setting his stories in Massachusetts, which leads to the speculation that it may be set in Salem for The Salem Witch Trails. However, some rumors have been flying around about how the story will be set in the south. There will also be another Rubber man and Bloody Face but this time it will be a woman.
Either way, Murphy will not cease to disappoint, and will continue to bring us to the edge of our seats by bringing us that terror feeling we are missing already. As talk continues about what could be coming next, only time will tell what is going to happen next.
